2019 Self Care Guide

I’m not usually one for New Year’s resolutions, as I think that every day is a great opportunity to make the change, or try the thing you want to do; but that being said, I’m taking full advantage of the New Year as an opportunity to make a promise to myself… to schedule some ‘me’ time, every day, even if it is just for five minutes.

With mental health on the rise, it is becoming more and more important for us to set some time aside for ourselves; checking out from the day-to-day stresses that we encounter.  So I’ve created a plan that includes a variety of stress reducing activities for each day of the month, because after all, a happy mum means a happy family!

To make things easier and less complicated, I have created a one month plan which I will replicate 11 times over, adjusting to suit the length of each month.  Life happens so I may have to rejig plans every now and again to suit, but as much as possible, I plan to stick to this.

Here is my 2019 Self Care Plan;

Even if you can’t set time aside for yourself every day;

It is time to… love yourself, respect yourself, admire yourself, forgive yourself, accept yourself and nurture yourself, from today.
